What type of anglican are you!

I would say that Anglicanism can be split into 6 category's

(The word practice is meaning liturgy and devotions)

1. Low church- Reformed practice and reformed theology (aka presbyterian with a prayer book)

I would like to point out beyond this point Anglicans hold to apostolic succession and it necessity, but there is a chance that Low churchmen may also.

2. Broad church (middle of the way) - These have a mix of some higher practice but not that high and protestant theology, maybe some high church theology in some cases.

3. High church Anglicans - These take high practice and theology but may not go all the way with the catholic belief system and practice. They hold still to some protestant theology in places.

This is where I see the break between those who are protestant and those who are catholic. Those beyond this point usually don't think much or at all of the 39 articles, they believe in the 7 full sacraments, and that at least the first 7 ecumenical councils are authoritative and bind all men.

4. Anglo- Catholics- They find a full catholic belief and practice system but they mix Roman and Eastern theology and practice.

5, Anglo- Papalists - These are the Anglicans who are all about Roman in all ways and beliefs, to make it easy they a Roman Catholics in the Anglican church and usually want the Anglican church to be united to the Roman sees again.

6. Orthodox Anglo-Catholics ( Eastern Anglo- Catholic, Anglo-Orthodox) - These are Anglicans who take eastern theology and as much practice as they are allowed because something the eastern church does isn't allowed with in the Anglican practice. Such as the templon with separates altar and the nave. They usually want to unite with the eastern sees and be in full communion with them.

These quick points do not give the full explanation but they give a good over view of Anglicanism today.

Leave me some comments and tell me what you are within our great breath of the Anglican church.
